Bioimagene strengthens its Executive Management team

BioImagene, the Silicon Valley based Digital Pathology Solutions company, today announced the appointment of 4 new senior executives to their management team, to further advance the key business objectives of the company in the field of digital pathology.

BioImagene announced the appointment of Vivek Pathak as the CFO, Steven Barbee as the Vice President of Sales, Greg Loney as the Vice-President of Instrumentation, and Himanshu Ubale as the Vice-President of Engineering. Mohan Uttarwar the President and CEO said “I am confident that this team will help us achieve our goal of being the market leaders in digital pathology.”

Vivek Pathak comes to BioImagene with over 25 years of expertise in financial management, and an established track record of successful fundraising. Vivek has served on the management teams of Cast Iron Systems, Coreon and Cummins.

Steven Barbee’s background includes over 15 years in executive and sales management positions within life science, computer, and telecommunication firms, including Trestle Corporation, Zyan and AT&T.

Greg Loney has over 20 years of experience in product development and the manufacture of optical, imaging and robotic instrument systems for the metrology and life-sciences markets. He has held technical leadership positions in Affymetrix, GSI Lumonics, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Himanshu Ubale has over 15 years of management experience in the software industry. He is experienced in strategic planning and management of development centers in India. He has held management positions at Surgical Information Systems, Computer Vision, and Tata Consultancy Services.
