BioImagene extends collaboration with Oracle

BioImagene today announced that TissueMine™ 1.8
- a total digital pathology solution for research and development,
will support Oracle® Database 10g and Oracle
interMedia – which enables the efficient management
and retrieval of image and other data within an Oracle Database.
TissueMine™ is a fully integrated, ready to use package
with digital image acquisition, objective analysis, efficient
image management, image mining and reporting. It includes
iScan™- BioImagene’s new tissue slide scanner,
high performance server, storage systems, high resolution
display terminal and a comprehensive software application.
TissueMine™ is 21 CFR Part 11 and GLP compliant.
BioImagene is a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork and
can offer users a cost effective digital pathology solution
on a proven platform by working with Oracle. Steven Hagan,
