Ventana’s iScan Concerto will allow both brightfield and fluorescence scanning within the same system. The iScan Concerto will have a capacity of up to 80 slides using Sakura’ baskets to hold the slides. The scanner will include all the brightfield scanning capabilities of the iScan Coreo Au, with the additional capability to scan brightfield slides at 60X. The iScan Concerto will also supports an automated turret that can hold up to five objectives (4X, 10X, 20X, 40X, or 60X). With Virtuoso, digital pathology analysis software, the iScan Concerto will allow a lab to continue to improve their IHC offerings, while adding the ability to do FISH or immunoflourescence testing in-house.
