Input Devices
BioImagene’s tradition of innovation is visible in the range of input devices we have developed and incorporated into our Total Digital Pathology Solution. These various devices help pathologists adapt more rapidly to a digital experience. Based on interactions and feedback from practicing pathologists, we have developed a unique input device, the iSlide™, to ease the pathologist’s transition from manual to digital pathology. We have also repurposed other standard input devices (touch screen interfaces and track pads) that further enables the digital pathology experience.
Some of the novel devices developed by BioImagene include:
This device allows a pathologist to use a microscope-like interface to manipulate whole slide digital images on a computer monitor.
Touchscreen Monitor
A simple touch of the screen can help the pathologist navigate whole slide digital images, view them at various magnifications, and easily annotate these images as well.
Track Pad Device
This device is similar to a trackpad on a laptop. A pathologist can manipulate whole slide digital images on a computer monitor by simply moving his or her fingers on the pad.
